Reflections in the workshop after a long journey about the past. Household items, the presence of which is constant. They are spectators and protagonists of my visual exercises. Reanimated objects made a journey with me. Images of streets, squares, endless corridors of countless apartments appeared in calm frozen groups of utensils, as in a photograph of a memory printed from a forgotten negative. The light from the window, level, gradually fading in depth, as an architect reveals the integral forms of the characters of the still life of a dead nature. Familiar things lined up in rows, eternal companions of memory, animated by a long life together, take the form of city streets.

Without need of color relationships, they need light. Emotions arise from dim lighting and the complex, tonal relationship of the characters in the picture. Mirage of the city or the corner of a forgotten corridor with abandoned objects that have become needless. Problems of a random person in a random existing world, the discovery of beauty, constant renewal in the endless process of creation. Still life, like a human universe, coming to life from the ruins of memory under the influence of the contact of light and shadow, barely perceptible color, eternal constructions of nature rediscovered on the sheet of paper.
